Dry Canyon is located in Lindon, Utah. Go up 2000 S and turn left on Dry Canyon Rd. When you drive to the parking lot the canyon is just stunning upon arrival. There are these 2 massive cliffs on both sides of the trail that give it a Grand Magnificent Entrance. These cliffs draw many for they are stunning and many hike this canyon for the purpose of getting on top of these cliffs. This canyon is steep enough to start that they built steps to help, but they are tall steps so they still get your heart pumping. The trail leads up between these amazing cliffs and I constantly am looking up, looking behind, looking where ever these cliffs are so I can keep seeing how they change and catch the beautiful views. This trail gives many options (none with streams or waterfalls, but still many cool options to choose from). There is a Curley Springs trail that heads over to Battle Creek Canyon. There are bike trails to also to the left. There is a trail that heads up to the top of Baldy, and there is a trail that heads off to the right that we took this time up. (Also a section of Curley Springs) My favorite times to hike this canyon are in May when there is so many beautiful flowers on this right fork, or before heading up to the top of Timp and practicing on Baldy (for it is a perfect tough hike to build strength, or my favorite is in the Fall for this canyon is really gorgeous in the fall.
