RECIPE FOR MY SUPERFOOD PROTEIN PANCAKES

I start with a blender and dump in
2 cups of milk, and add
⅔ c whole wheat,

but you can used any of the grains below to replace the wheat if you are anti wheat.  I start it blending on high speed. From here you get to be creative, but you can add a few Tablesoons to a ¼ c or more of any of the following.  I do them all because I love the health benefits of the variety of grains, and each of these super foods has their own amazing strengths.
¼ c Farro (an ancient super food grain)
¼ c spelt (another ancient super food grain)
¼ c Quinoa
2 Tablespoons chia seeds
2 T flax seeds
2 T maca powder
¼ c oats
2Tablespoons -¼ c almonds

The above must blend for at least 5 minutes, and if it slows down or is not blending throughout, then add more milk to keep it blending up those grains really fine.

Anytime after the grains are looking pretty smooth you can start adding these last ingredients that are not optional.
2-3 eggs
3 Tablespoons oil (I used Coconut oil, MCT oil, or Olive oil)
¾ teas salt
3 Tablespoons brown sugar or honey
1 teaspoon vanilla

After all the above are well blended and smooth, add

2-3 Tablespoons baking powder
Stir baking powder in with a spoon if needed

Fry them up. I usually cook them on my stove on a heat seating of a 3, and turn them when the are brown on the bottom, but you just need to know to cook these on a lower temperature than normal pancakes so they cook all the way through. I love to top them with fruit, and pure healthy maple syrup, or peanut butter and maple syrup.  Yum!

Maca is not a well know super food, but it benefits a better libido, reduces menopause symptoms like hot flashes, boosts your energy, increases fertility, improves mood, reduces blood pressure, improves learning, fights free radicals, and reduces sun damage.  Its flavor mixes well and is hard to identify when in the pancakes.

Almonds deliver a massive amount of nutrients.  They are a great source of iron that also helps with energy. Flax seeds:.
For centuries they have been prizes for their health properties for they are loaded with nutrients.  They are high in the Omega-3 fats which helps your body from depositing cholesterol in the blood vessels and the heart. They have lignans which reduces cancer risks. They are rich in 2 types of fiber. The one type increases consistentcy of the contents of your intestines and slows down the digestion rate. Chia seeds are among the healthiest food on the planet, and deliver massive amounts of nutrients in very few calories. They are loaded with Antioxidants that protect cells and helps fight cancer. Spelt and whole wheat are in a similar family. Spelt is just a more ancient grain that has less modifications.
They are both high in fiber and help reduce heart disease and obesity.
