Many of you have heard that Cheyenne pepper is amazing for zapping a cold when you first get that tickle, and is a medicinal wonder herb, but are you like me and tried it and decided that was way too painful to be worth it?  Well here is my solution taken right from Mary Poppins,

"just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine
go down, in the most delightful way"!

Here is my Cayenne pepper Almonds that taste like the fancy Cinnamon almonds, but each time you pop one of these candy tasting almonds in your mouth, you are reeping not only the benefits of the power of Cayenne pepper, but also of the SUPERFOOD Almonds!  Here is the recipe, and the health benefits can been found below.

Recipe for Cayenne Pepper Almonds

In a skillet put
 2c almonds
1/8-1/4 cup sugar
2-3 Tablespoons Cayenne Pepper
1-2 T water.

Cook and stir constantly over medium heat until the liquid is bubbling well.  Boil for 1 minute.  Dump out on a plate or wax paper where the almonds are close to single layered.  Let them cool. They should harden up and have that candied shell, and you can dump them into. Bowl to enjoy.
If you think you can handle more heat, raise how much Cayenne pepper you add.
