Canyon Creek Charcoal Mines Melrose Montana Canyon Creek Old Charcoal Mines and Guest Ranch by Melrose Montana in 360 Degrees For your nature fix today, here are some old Charcoal Kilns on the road up to Canyon Creek Guest House close to Melrose Montana. These fascinating structures used to be tightly stacked to the top with logs, and then closed up and lite. The smoke turning from white to yellow to blue and would tell them how the process of infusing oxygen into the burnt wood was going. When complete, the wood would be charcoal pieces that were lighter to transport and burned hotter than wood. This was used for the mining town that used to be about 10 miles from these kilns. Fascinating spot. Thinking about these kilns, it is both the fire and the oxygen that transform the wood to something better. Colorado River VR 360 Nature Vacations Need a lift today? Well I have some wonderful Nature Therapy to lift your spirit and put you in a postive mood. It is a VR Getaway to the beautiful Colorado River Bridge to enjoy beautiful views of the river and the calming effects of watching the river and the clouds. This area is especially stunning because of the deep green of the river and the bright reds of the cliffs. My first Nature Vacation at the Colorado River is the Colorado River Bridge. I love this one, for the bridge is so beautiful, and the contrast between the deep green in the river, and the red cliffs is a stunning combination. Cathedral of the Sun and Moon at Capitol Reef National Park - VR 360 Nature Vacation -

Gypsum Sink Hole in Cathedral Valley Cathedral of the Sun and Cathedral of the Moon - VR Nature Vacation - Capitol Reef National Park Cathedral Valley is a beautiful place to enjoy some VR 360 Virtual Nature Therapy to boost the postitive chemicals in your body. I love this VR Getaway for the formations of Cathedral of the Sun and Cathedral of the Moon are so interesting in their similarities to a real Cathedral. The granduer of the size of the Cathedral of the Sun to the size of the Cathedral of the Moon is a fun parrallel. The crazy Glass Mountain is a mystery in how this formation came to be, and I had was intriged to see a real natural sinkhole where the earth has just sunk into a very deep hole. So give yorself some "Me Time" to recharge and heal by enjoying a VR Nature fix. Bald Mountain Unitas in 360 Degrees

View West from Bald Mountain where you can see all the mountain peaks from Mount Nebo to the Willard Mountain Peaks! At least 20 lakes, and 20 mountain peaks! 360 Adventure Hiking Bald Mountain, Utah Bald Mountain is one of my favorite hikes, but my return trip up this year gave this area a whole new perspective and reason to LOVE this trail even more. Bald mountain trail starts with a huge switch back, and you head to the very west or backside of Bald mountain, and then turn to go to the front or east side. Just after you turn to head back east, there is a field of speckled rocks and grass. It looks like something off a Scottish coastline. It you just carefully wander out into that field, and just find a comfortable piece of grass or rock, this spot is fascinating. I would suggest taking up a map that has mountain peaks and lakes labeled, and just sit there and try and identify all the peaks and lakes. There are at least 20 lakes, and 20 mountain peaks we coul

Hells Backbone Bridge- Escalante Hells Backbone Bridge in VR 360 Degrees Escalante, Utah 360 Video at Hells Backbone Bridge Information about this Drive: Bridge is about 4.5 hours South of SLC I especially like the section of the drive from the bridge to Escalante. I am itching to hike the cool canyons in that Pine Creek Canyon area. This drive has access to some beautiful lakes in the Boulder Mountains, and the closest one to the Bridge has great fishing if you have a Kayak. It is called Posey Lake. Bridge is build over a huge gorgeous canyon that pictures don't do justice. This drive can go from Boulder all the way to Escalante. If you drive the whole way, you must realize that the main drive from Escalante to Boulder is EXTREMELY stunning. Probably my most favorite drive in Utah, so hopefully you can fit both into your drive. The drive is mostly a dirt road, but it is well maintained, so even regular cars can do this drive, but you do need to not speed, f

PARIA UTAH STACKED CARS USED TO MAKE FREEWAY IN SLOT CANYON Just past the House Rock Valley Road along highway 89, there is a cool slot canyon that they used cars from the 1960's to fill in the gap in the highway. They stacked the cars, then covered it with dirt, then built the highway on top. If you look at the Google Earth image below, you can see the cars sticking out on the side of the road. Such a funny yet clever thing to do. You can't say people from Utah are not resourceful. Lost Creek Falls Provo Canyon Lost Creek Falls Provo Canyon in 360 Degrees Lost Creek is a falls that has been undervalued often, for people give up before they find the REAL Lost Creek Falls, and there are many images online showing incorrect versions. I think this happens too often with people too, do we give up on a friendship just because our first impression isn't fabulous, or because we aren't creative enough that we can't see a path to find anything more. This falls takes some determination to find the Real Lost Creek Falls, for there are ledges to shimmy around, streams to cross that don't have great crossings so your shoes will most likely get wet, and lots of big rocks and obstacles that make the path windy in its route although it. Hidden Haven Waterfall - Bryan Head Hidden Haven Waterfall by Bryan Head in 360 Degrees Sometimes you find a treasure and you feel there was a hand above helping and leading you to find that treasure. That was this Hidden Haven waterfall, and I am hugely grateful for the gift of finding this hidden gem close to Bryan Head.
