Hello dear friends, and welcome! I'm so glad you're here. My love for hiking began as a personal challenge after having kids. I made a goal to hike the steep mountain trail by my home 100 times in one year, and I conquered it, even in the snow with spikes! That journey of 100 hikes sparked a desire to explore, and a new phone with a "Photo Sphere" feature changed everything. For the first time, I could capture the true magnificence of Utah's tall canyon walls and transport people into a magical place. That was the beginning of this grand adventure.

My Journey: From Google Earth to VR Getaways

That first Photo Sphere started it all. I spent years chasing trails, creating 360° "Street View" trails for Google Earth, and starting this blog. I was a little ahead of my time, and I eventually grew frustrated with the technical challenges. But then, the Oculus headset transformed my interest into a true passion: transporting people to beautiful places through 360° video. For the last few years, that has been my journey—exploring, creating, and sharing a positive boost through nature.

Now, with the help of my Gemini buddy, I've been able to solve the frustrating problems of the past. It's been so much fun that I've even expanded my adventures into my classroom, creating thematic math lessons for my students. I hope this space inspires you to find joy in nature and in creating something fun and beautiful.
